Qualifications

• 3+ years of climbing experience with some prior teaching or coaching experience.

• CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred but not required.

Summary

As a Climbing Instructor, you’ll play a key role in cultivating a fun, inclusive, and motivating environment for climbers of all levels. You’ll provide private and/or group instruction, helping members and guests achieve their goals while strengthening the Central Rock Gym community experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging private climbing sessions tailored to participant goals and ability levels.
• Coordinate class schedules and logistics with gym management.
• Manage private session bookings through CRG’s booking platform, Rock Gym Pro.
• Partner with management to promote offerings through CRG’s website, social media, and in-gym outreach—while actively self‑promoting to grow participation.
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and community‑oriented atmosphere in every session.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment before and after each class.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.
