Job summary

Buckeye Construction & Restoration is seeking a Masonry Restoration Superintendent to lead field operations on restoration projects in Campbellsville, KY, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery within budget.

The role requires 5+ years of commercial masonry restoration experience and 3+ years in a superintendent or similar leadership role, with strong blueprint reading, coordination of crews, subcontractors, equipment and materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial masonry restoration experience.
• At least 3 years in a Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar leadership role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and restoration details.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Monitor crew work for quality.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and restoration details.
• Conducts regular tailgate safety meetings.
• Organizes, supervises, leads and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframe.
• Enforces all company and client-required safety policies and procedures.
• Submits crewmembers’ timesheets into payroll by deadline.

We are seeking an experienced Masonry Restoration Superintendentto lead field operations and deliver high-quality restoration projects safely, on time, and within budget.

What you'll do:

• Supervises a crew of multiple employees, subcontractors, and daily jobsite operations.
• Monitor crew work for quality.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and restoration details.
• Conducts regular tailgate safety meetings.

• Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation.
• Submits crewmembers’ timesheets into payroll by deadline.

What we're looking for:

• Basic knowledge of administration and management. Must be able to plan, allocate resources, manage production and coordinate people and equipment.
• Knowledge of restoration masonry materials, methods, and equipment, including brick, block, stone, mortar, concrete repair, waterproofing, sealants, and façade restoration techniques.
• Strong coordination, time management, active listening, oral and written expression and comprehension, critical thinking and reasoning skills.
• The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong—to recognize problems when they occur and to work toward the solution of those problems.
• Ability to exercise good judgment when carrying out duties and to maintain good working relationships with the public and fellow employees.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and restoration details.
• Advanced mechanical skills a plus.
• Proficient at using basic computer software such as Microsoft Office and Outlook

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• High school degree or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of commercial masonry restoration experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar leadership role.
