Apprentices and journeymen will perform tuckpointing, brick and stone removal and laying, sealant work, caulking, and related masonry tasks with safety-first discipline. Candidates must have own hand tools, ability to work at height on scaffolds or lifts, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience in exterior building repair/restoration work.
• Ability to travel across the metro area.
• Maintain own hand tools for the trade.
• Operate power tools (grinders, hammers).
• Follow OSHA safety policies and laws.
• Work at height on scaffolding or lifts.
• Rig and erect scaffolding and staging equipment.
• Accurately measure to the nearest fraction of an inch.
• Knowledge of trade chemicals and cleaners.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Skillfully perform exterior repair and restoration work.
• Travel throughout the metro area to projects.
• Maintain own hand tools for the trade.
• Operate power tools including grinders and hammers.
• Follow DCI and OSHA safety policies and laws.
• Work high above ground on scaffolding and lifts.
• Erect and rig scaffolding and staging equipment.
• Measure accurately with tape to nearest fraction.
• Handle trade chemicals safely.
