Job summary

Mason Street Grill at Pfister in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Steward to support kitchen operations and maintain a clean, safe environment. You will operate the dish machine, organize and return clean wares, and help keep the dish area and kitchen tidy during shifts.

Ideal candidates will have prior hospitality or cleaning/janitorial experience and be able to adapt to varied duties and fast-paced changes. This role offers opportunities to contribute to a premier dining experience in downtown

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dish machine to standards, efficiently processing dishes and utensils.
• Organize clean dishes, unload, stack, and store them in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in dish area and kitchen, including emptying garbage cans and performing general cleaning tasks.
• Ensure floor safety by sweeping, mopping, and drying, and transport soiled ware to designated areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, wipe down countertops, restock supplies, and assist with equipment movement.
• Set up equipment and bus stations for efficient service, anticipating event order needs and performing additional assigned duties.

As a Steward at Mason Street Grill, you will work behind the scenes and help make our restaurant the best in Milwaukee by keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, emptying garbage cans, washing pots and pans, and loading and unloading the dishwasher.
