Togetherhood is seeking enthusiastic instructors to teach Martial Arts (Karate, Taekwondo, MMA, BJJ) to K-12 students across Philadelphia. Teaching terms range from 6 to 18 weeks, with after-school classes conducted in schools and community sites.
Ideal candidates bring a passion for hands-on projects with kids, joyful teaching, and the ability to foster an inclusive classroom. This is contracted, supplemental 1099 work with opportunities to impact youth learning.

As a member of our network, you will be matched with opportunities to teach Martial Arts (Karate, Taekwondo, MMA, BJJ) to K-12 students at schools, buildings, and communities across PHL. These teaching opportunities will be for terms that could last anywhere from 6 weeks to 18 weeks.

Teachers in the Togetherhood network are paid per class, either flat rate or per-student (determined by the partner school). This is contracted, supplemental 1099 work. There is a separate materials budget for teachers to use for classes requiring one.
