Marple Presbyterian Church Seeks Its Next Pastor

Marple Presbyterian Church (MPC) is seeking its next Pastor to lead and inspire our congregation as we seek to glorify God as disciples of Jesus Christ through heartfelt worship, spiritual growth, supportive fellowship, loving outreach, and service to others.

The Pastor will provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care, and administrative oversight while guiding the congregation in its mission and ministry. Responsibilities include planning and leading worship, administering the sacraments, providing pastoral care and counseling, visiting members, and officiating weddings and funerals. The Pastor will serve as head of staff, moderate the Session, support church leadership, and represent the congregation within the Presbytery and the wider community.

The position also includes fostering Christian education and discipleship through Bible studies, small groups, youth engagement, and leadership development. Additionally, the Pastor will help strengthen community partnerships, support outreach ministries, maintain effective church communications, and encourage the spiritual growth and vitality of the congregation through faithful, ethical, and Christ-centered leadership.
