The role requires strong finance knowledge, excellent writing, and the ability to deliver sharp daily stories while balancing multiple assignments. Remote work is possible with LA HQ option.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university or relevant experience.
• At least three years of experience as a reporter or editor, including some financial journalism.
• Excellent writing skills, accuracy and news judgment.
• Strong understanding of business fundamentals, financial statements and the stock market.

Responsibilities

• Accurately report and write engaging, well-sourced articles for investors.
• Keep up to date on market news, trends and stock performance lists.
• Develop strong SEO for headlines, page titles, URLs, meta descriptions and keywords.
• Use stock charts, financial statements and databases to gather information.
