Job summary

Citi is seeking intern analysts to join our Markets team in Paris. The six-month program starts January 2027, offering hands-on experience across rates, equities, commodities, credit, futures and FX. You will learn trading desk fundamentals, risk management and market analysis while building your network within a global bank.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university with mandatory internship agreement (Graduation Year 2026/2027).
• Strong interest in Markets and finance with ability to learn quickly.
• Experience in Financial Markets is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Learn market making and trading book risk management on the trading desk.
• Develop pricing, hedging and analysis tools and strategies with guidance from experienced traders.
• Support risk reconciliation, P&L, and trade booking to learn core operations.
• Contribute to quantitative research projects identifying trading strategies and improving risk models.
• Assist in drafting term sheets and maintaining databases critical to desk operations.
• Prepare regular market updates and collaborate with Debt Capital Markets, sales, trading, banking, legal, and Middle Office.
