Job summary

Mahaska is seeking a motivated Full-time Loader to join our Markets Warehouse team in Norfolk, VA. No experience required; on-the-job training will help you gain the skills to perform accurate picks and reliable order loading with a strong team.

You’ll read build sheets, use an iPad for picking, and work with a great team in a clean, safety-conscious warehouse. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently or with others.

• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Read build sheets and prompt loading of loads.
• Empty route trucks and restock incoming freight.
• Load products and keep warehouse clean and organized.
• Use an iPad to verify picks for accuracy.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to;

• Effectively read build sheets.
• Maintain the ability to build loads promptly.
• Responsible for handling empties and full merchandise returned by drivers.
• Empty route trucks and load products.
• Work safely, keeping the work and warehouse areas clean and organized.
• Help restock and put away incoming freight.
• Effectively read and use an iPad to ensure accurate picks

Requirements:

Possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. repeatedly. Possess a high school diploma or GED.
