WVU Medicine is seeking a Marketing Strategist to develop and execute strategic marketing plans across clinical programs, coordinating budgets, media buys, and multi-channel campaigns. The role emphasizes content creation, SEO/SEM, digital marketing, and analytics to support service-line goals.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field and at least two years of marketing experience, with healthcare marketing experience preferred.
This position plays a central role in the creation, and execution, of strategic marketing plans which support WVU Medicine’s strategic business priorities and operational goals. This person will focus on marketing activities of his assigned clinical programs, and must have the ability to work within many areas of marketing, including working well with team members, having a strong understanding of marketing budgets, be able to place media buys in a variety of formats (print, digital, out-of-home, broadcast), executing marketing campaigns across multiple marketing channels, executing the social media strategy in support of assigned services and developing copy and content that can be repurposed across multiple outreach channels.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field.
1. Two (2) years of experience in marketing.
1. Five (5) years of experience in marketing. 2. Healthcare marketing experience.
