Skyline Construction seeks a Marketing Specialist to develop local marketing activities, including high-quality proposals, branded materials, PR content, and other deliverables that position the company competitively. You will manage pursuits with rapid turnarounds and tight deadlines, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in commercial construction or related industries.
• Experience managing proposals, RFQs, and RFP responses.
• Experience supporting business development and client pursuit activities with technical staff.
• Proven writing and editing abilities with content creation and custom proposals.
• Strong graphic design skills to articulate concepts visually.
• Excellent organizational skills with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to use AI throughout pursuit processes to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Pursuit Management: manage proposals, RFP responses, qualifications packages, and interview presentations.
• Create compelling content, visuals/infographics, and design assets such as resumes and project sheets.
• Coach Operations on interview messaging and post-interview follow-ups.
• Project Marketing: coordinate project marketing efforts, signage, swag, client gifts, photography, videography, and promotional assets.
• Coordinate with vendors for professional photography/videography.
• Develop case studies to market the project portfolio through text and visuals.
• CRM and Data Management: enter data into CRM, support pursuits, resumes/teams, and client information.
• Support bid and resource reporting; assist with client surveys.
• Public Relations: draft press releases, award submissions, and announcements.
• Track media coverage and support company PR efforts.
• Branding: assist with branded materials per brand standards.
• Events and Client Engagement: plan and execute internal/external events; coordinate vendors and materials.
• Represent Skyline at company and industry events.
• Content Development: brainstorm with Marketing Manager and branding team.
• Produce content for bios, project stories, website updates, social media, and internal messaging.
• Marketing Strategy and Collaboration: participate in annual marketing planning.
• Stay current on industry trends and share ideas to elevate initiatives.
• Collaborate with regional teams to coordinate workload and maintain brand alignment.
