Job summary

Canvas in Arlington, VA is seeking a Marketing PR Specialist to develop and implement social media strategies, manage content calendars, and publish brand-aligned content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

The role emphasizes video content creation, podcast production, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing and product teams. On-site position with strong CMS and design tool experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of professional experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or organization.
  • Proven track record of content strategies across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube.
  • Experience with short-form video content creation and editing.
  • Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Asana, or similar).
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Content creation experience (copy, basic graphic design, photo/video editing).
  • Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Audition, Adobe Premiere Pro).
  • Experience producing and editing podcasts.
  • Experience coordinating or collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • CMS experience with Ingeniux or similar.
  • Must have a T1 security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement social media strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Create and maintain an editorial/content calendar to align with team needs.
