Job summary

Homewerks Worldwide, LLC, a leading importer of home improvement products, is seeking a Marketing Project Specialist to join our Lake Bluff, IL marketing team. The role supports planning, coordination, and execution of marketing projects across departments.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills; Wrike experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years’ project management experience in a consumer products company.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Experience with Wrike or similar PM software.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the pipeline of new requests from Sales, Sourcing, and Supply Chain.
  • Support Project Manager in coordinating marketing projects.
  • Assist Marketing Managers and Product Managers with ad hoc requests.
  • Ensure deadlines are met by coordinating across departments.

Homewerks Worldwide, LLC, a leading import distributor of home improvement products for major retailers is seeking a Marketing Project Specialist to join our Marketing Team . Position Summary

The Marketing Project Specialist role supports active marketing projects, manages the pipeline of new requests, and works across marketing channels and creative functions. Supports the planning, coordination, execution, and tracking of marketing-related projects across the organization. This role works closely with the Project Manager, Marketing Managers, Product Managers, and cross-functional teams to help ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and aligned with business priorities.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This person brings a positive, can-do attitude, strong communication skills, and a calm, solutions-focused approach when priorities shift or challenges arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manages the pipeline of new requests from Sales, Sourcing, and Supply Chain
  • Support the Project Manager in managing, coordinating, and creating marketing-related projects.
  • Assist Marketing Managers and Product Managers with ad hoc requests, project needs, and issue resolution.
  • Help ensure assigned project deadlines are met by working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, Sourcing, Sales, Supply Chain, and other departments.
  • Contribute to the execution and management of marketing deliverables, including social media posts, new item set-ups, product launch materials, sales support materials, samples coordination, and other marketing assets.
  • Track, update, and report project status using the company’s project management tool.
  • Assign deliverables and accountability to appropriate team members, while providing guidance, direction, and support as needed.
  • Help identify lapses in schedules, deadlines, or commitments, and ensure corrective actions are defined and initiated.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying organized and focused on deadlines.
  • Pivot quickly and effectively as priorities change.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and bring a sense of calm, structure, and professionalism to challenging or time-sensitive situations.
  • Support process improvements and help identify ways to make workflows more efficient and effective.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, Public Relations, English, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in project management in a consumer products company.
  • Positive, can-do attitude in all aspects of work.

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience with Wrike or other project management software required.
  • Plumbing industry experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and InDesign, a plus.
