Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Construction Material Testing is seeking a Marketing Manager to own the website and search performance, oversee the qualifications library, project sheets, resumes, and proposal templates used across pursuits.
You will develop a content calendar with engineers, run campaigns across email, LinkedIn, events and direct outreach, and report results. The role emphasizes measurable outcomes and brand-consistent messaging across all channels.
Own the company website and search program: content, technical SEO, local listings, and the analytics that show what is working; Build and maintain the qualifications package, project sheets, resumes, and proposal templates used on every pursuit; Produce the content calendar - technical articles, project stories, and case material - with the engineers who have the knowledge; Run campaigns (email, LinkedIn, trade events, direct outreach lists) for the markets the company is opening, and report results monthly; Keep brand, messaging, and claims accurate and consistent across every public channel.
5+ years in B2B marketing, with at least 2 in the AEC, construction, engineering, or industrial services sector; Hands-on with a modern website stack, search analytics, and a CRM; writes clean, specific copy; Has built proposals or qualifications packages for professional services pursuits; Organized enough to run a calendar and curious enough to learn what a compaction test is.
Monday is the numbers: search queries and rankings, website conversions, the campaign that went out last week, and what the business development team needs this week. From there it is production - a project sheet for a job that just finished, a technical article drafted with the laboratory manager, the qualifications package updated for a new market, an outreach list built for the engineers to call. The work is specific and measurable. A good month is one where the proposals went out on time, the website brought in requests from the markets you targeted, and nothing published said something the company cannot back up.
Salary runs $75,000 to $100,000 depending on experience and market, with an annual bonus tied to the lead and proposal targets agreed at the start of the year. Texas positions are based at the Sugar Land headquarters; positions in other markets are based at the regional office for that market, with travel to Sugar Land for planning and to jobsites for content.
We are an equal opportunity employer and consider every applicant without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status.
The Marketing Manager runs the marketing program for a construction materials testing, special inspection, and geotechnical firm that is growing by opening new markets. You own the website and its search performance, the statement-of-qualifications and proposal library, the content calendar, and the campaigns that generate conversations for the business development team. It is a hands-on seat in a company that measures marketing by the proposals it produces, not the impressions.
