POSITION OVERVIEW

As part of the client's Mobile Experience (MX) Marketing team, the Influencer Marketing team is responsible for managing the client's roster of talent and influencers, a highly diverse group of individuals who share one objective: helping the client solve business challenges and reach audiences that may not be possible through traditional media. This role is involved in every aspect of influencer marketing, from contracting and onboarding new talent, leading product campaigns, and ideating new concepts aligned with strategic briefs, to developing content and measuring the performance of both the program and individual campaigns. The client views its talent roster as partners, so in addition to being highly focused on exceeding the client's goals and targets, this role shares accountability for elevating the roster and making talent successful. This role works heavily with the client's internal teams in Korea to align on global-local strategies and implementations, as well as with Carrier and Retail stakeholders to ensure maximum value and amplification. This is a fast-paced environment with a mix of strategic planning, rapid execution, and hustle.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify talent that align with strategic priorities and framework; work with agency partners to find and onboard new talent that fit the framework and can deliver against business goals.
  • Develop strategic campaign plans, including end-to-end execution with launch objectives, audiences, and sales.
  • Execute specific campaigns and device launches where talent can be activated; translate campaign strategies into influencer strategies and tactics by identifying how and where influencers add incremental value.
  • Work closely with Finance to manage operational requirements for funding, ensuring all approvals are handled within compliance and guidelines.
  • Negotiate and execute commercial terms and contracts to secure talent, working with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Procurement.
  • Track, analyze, and report against marketing/influencer KPIs and metrics, taking corrective action where needed.
  • Take a consultative role for multiple internal stakeholders, serving as a source of expertise on influencers.
  • Create executive-ready presentations where execution plans are clearly articulated and understood, inclusive of ROI/data targets and impact.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
  • BA/BS degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Business Management.
  • 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following areas: Influencer Marketing/Talent, Partnership Marketing, Partnerships, Business Development, or Account Management.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts with a strong bias for upholding legal, compliance, and financial policies and following proper procedure.
  • An iterative thinker who can challenge the status quo.
  • A consummate collaborator committed to communication excellence.
  • Ability to think strategically about issues, leading to recommendations and action plans.
  • Ability to think quickly and make decisions, sometimes without all the necessary information.
  • Comfortable presenting at the executive level.
  • Strong project/program management experience.
  • Experience executing against a set budget.
NECESSARY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
  • Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to negotiate with and convince others, in a potentially adversarial environment, including leadership, directors, and managers with opposing views, to accept/approve plans, technical, and project recommendations.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple strategic programs and simultaneous performance objectives.
  • Ability to write, read, interpret, explain, and act based on a thorough understanding of technical documents, engineering materials, contracts, or related documents.
  • Ability to make professional business presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally, including complex business and technical matters, to an audience with high technical skills, management, and operational experience.
  • Ability to support a cross-functional team to achieve business objectives and specific team goals within established time frames and requirements.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS

Work is generally performed in an office environment. Requires operating a computer keyboard and viewing a video display terminal more than 50% of work time, including prolonged periods.
