Job summary

All Weather Seal of West Michigan is seeking an experienced Retail & Events Manager to lead our field marketing team. This leadership role oversees about 15 Retail and Event Marketing Representatives and drives lead generation through retail partnerships, community events, and local marketing initiatives.

You will manage operations across retail locations and community events, recruit and coach staff, and ensure top-notch customer experiences while hitting performance KPIs and maintaining CRM

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or management experience leading teams in retail, sales, marketing, hospitality or related field.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations, performance, and development of the retail and event marketing team across locations.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor new team members; conduct regular coaching sessions and reviews.
• Oversee staffing schedules for retail locations and weekend events; manage event logistics and promotional materials.
• Own team performance metrics, monitor lead generation, productivity, and KPI attainment; ensure accurate CRM reporting.

This leadership role is responsible for developing and managing a team of approximately 15 Retail and Event Marketing Representatives (and growing) while driving lead generation performance through retail partnerships, community events, and local marketing initiatives.

What You'll Do

• As the Retail & Events Manager, you'll lead the daily operations, performance, and development of our retail and event marketing team while ensuring exceptional execution across every location and event.
• Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 15 Marketing Representatives, with continued team growth expected
• Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor new team members
• Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions and performance reviews
• Foster a culture built on accountability, teamwork, continuous learning, and healthy competition
• Motivate your team to consistently achieve and exceed individual and team goals
• Identify future leaders and help develop internal talent

Retail & Event Operations

• Oversee operations across retail partner locations and community events
• Ensure all booths, kiosks, and displays represent the All Weather Seal brand professionally
• Manage staffing schedules for retail locations and weekend events
• Coordinate event logistics, setup, breakdown, inventory, and promotional materials
• Maintain operational excellence while creating engaging customer experiences

Performance & Business Results

• Own team performance and key marketing KPIs
• Monitor lead generation, appointment quality, productivity, and conversion metrics
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and coaching opportunities
• Implement strategies to improve efficiency, lead quality, and overall team results
• Ensure accurate CRM reporting and operational documentation
• Drive a high-performance environment focused on continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership or management experience leading teams in retail, sales, marketing, hospitality, customer service, or a related field
• Experience managing team performance and holding employees accountable to goals and KPIs
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
• Data-driven decision maker comfortable tracking metrics and performance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead, by example, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Comfortable working weekends for community events and trade shows
