Alistair Filmore - State Farm Agent is seeking a part-time Marketing Coordinator to support local outreach, events, and social media in the Indianapolis area. You’ll visit businesses in Marion & Hamilton County, drop off materials, and build community relationships with no sales pressure.

The role offers flexible hours, resume-building experience, and a performance-based bonus. You’ll work with the agency to plan events and manage social channels like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Qualifications

• Friendly, confident communication and comfort talking with local business owners.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally within north Indianapolis & Hamilton County.
• Organized and able to juggle outreach + events + content.
• Basic computer skills and social media comfort.
• Weekend flexibility when needed.

Responsibilities

• Visit businesses in Marion & Hamilton County to introduce the agency and drop off marketing materials.
• Build friendly relationships and help spread awareness locally.
• Assist with planning and day-of execution of local events; weekend availability may be required.
• Run our social media: post to Facebook and Instagram monthly, create content around events and updates, capture photos/videos.

What You’ll Do as our Marketing Coordinator:

Local Outreach

• Visit businesses in Marion & Hamilton County
• Introduce our agency and drop off marketing materials
• Build friendly relationships and help spread awareness locally

Plan & Help Run Community Events

• Assist with planning and day-of execution of local events
• Weekend availability may be required based on event schedules

Run Our Social Media

• Post to Facebook + Instagram, at least monthly (and more as you plan ahead)
• Create/organize content around events, community involvement, and agency updates
• Capture photos/video during outreach and events (as permitted)
• TikTok: We’re aiming to launch soon

What We’re Looking For

Compensation

• $15-17/hour
