Job summary
Kyndryl seeks motivated interns to join its Marketing team in New York City. You’ll learn how a modern marketing organization operates, work on a strategic project, and receive mentorship and professional development to boost your resume.
You’ll gain exposure to senior leaders, work with full-time staff on real projects, and develop data-driven insights using Excel, Power BI and SQL.
Qualifications
- Rising Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics or related field.
- Entry-level abilities in the listed areas including creativity, communication, collaboration, project management, research and analytical skills, problem solving and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Analyze marketing performance across channels (digital, paid media, events, campaigns).
- Use data to identify trends, performance drivers and opportunities for optimization.
- Evaluate marketing investments and determine where teams can improve ROI.
- Develop analyses, reports and visualizations to make data insights clear.
- Support dashboards and recurring performance reporting using Excel and Power BI.
- Gain exposure to SQL and large marketing datasets.
- Translate findings into business insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to answer business questions with data.
- Present findings to analytics, marketing and business stakeholders.

We are seeking highly motivated, creative and strategic-minded individuals to join our team of summer interns – and work as part of the Kyndryl Marketing organization. In this role, you will learn how a modern marketing organization works across all its disciplines, work as an intern team on a strategic project, partner with an early professional in the organization on an individual assignment and receive professional development and guidance.
Through our program, you’ll learn from leaders, be exposed and contribute to how work gets done, and gain new experiences that will contribute to your resume and personal growth.
- on-site at our New York City location. Internship Dates: June 8 - July 28 summer 2027.
- Compensation: The pay range for the position will be $30/hour based on a full-time schedule working 40 hours a week.

- Develop analyses, reports and visualizations that make complex data easier to understand
- Support dashboards and recurring performance reporting using tools such as Excel and Power BI
- Gain exposure to SQL and large marketing and business datasets
- Translate analytical findings into clear business insights and recommendations
- Partner with marketing teams to understand business questions and determine how data can help answer them
- Serve as analytics focal within a broader intern team, bringing a data-driven perspective to team projects
- Present findings and recommendations to analytics, marketing and business stakeholders
- Rising Senior working towards a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Analytics, Data Science, Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics or a related field.

- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated curiosity about how businesses measure success and use data to make decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data
- Interest in learning or developing skills in SQL, Power BI and business intelligence tools
- Ability to take a business question, analyze relevant data and communicate what the data means
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Curiosity and an interest in understanding what drives business and marketing performance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across a team while taking ownership of assigned work
