Cognizant AI Lab is seeking a Marketing Intern to help tell the story of our AI research, technology, and people. You will collaborate with researchers, engineers, and industry leaders to share impactful content and ideas.

You will assist with social media, events, website content, and learning initiatives, gaining hands-on experience across formats like newsletters, blogs, podcasts, and video series. This role is hybrid with SF office days.

Formación

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
• Strong writing and communication skills, able to make complex topics clear for blogs/ newsletters.
• Interest in event marketing including conferences, speaker submissions, and event planning/execution.
• Social media savviness across LinkedIn, X, YouTube and Reddit, with engaging content knowledge.
• Creative, organized, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced team.

• Support the growth of the Agent Academy learning hub and other community initiatives by developing educational content, promoting programs, and engaging the broader AI and developer community.
• Create and support content across formats, including newsletters, blogs, podcasts, and video series, and help track campaign performance to identify opportunities to improve.

About the role

As a Marketing Intern, you will make an impact by helping tell the story of the research, technology, and people shaping the future of AI at Cognizant AI Lab. You will be a valued member of the Cognizant AI Lab marketing team and work collaboratively with researchers, engineers, and AI industry leaders.

In this role, you will

• Help manage and grow the Lab's social channels, creating engaging content that builds awareness of our research, technology, people, and work.

• Support the Lab's event strategy by identifying conferences and speaking opportunities, developing speaker submissions, and helping coordinate Lab events and hackathons.

Work model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in San Francisco, California . What you need to have to be considered

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.

• Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex topics into clear and engaging content for blogs and newsletters.

• Interest in event marketing, including identifying conferences and speaking opportunities, pitching speakers, and supporting event planning and execution.

• Social media savvy, with a strong understanding of platforms such as LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Reddit and what makes content engaging across different channels.

• Creative, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

These will help you stand out

• Experience with content creation and design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or similar platforms.

• Experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro.

• Curiosity about AI and emerging technology, eagerness to learn, and excitement about helping bring new ideas, research, and technology to a broader audience.

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until September 30, 2026.

• The hourly rate for this position is between $25.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

• This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
