Job summary

Caterpillar offers a 12-week Marketing Internship to gain real-world experience and develop core marketing competencies. Interns will support brand storytelling, market research, and advertising across dealer and end-user segments, with rotations through product and marketing teams.

Located at Peoria, IL and other US sites, this full-time internship runs May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027. Onsite five days per week; relocation assistance available; visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year University/College in Marketing, Business, Graphic Design, Communications, PR, or related degree at the time of application and throughout the program.
• Minimum 2.8/4.0 cumulative GPA, no rounding.
• Must be able to relocate to internship location for the duration and commute reliably.

Responsibilities

• Build foundational knowledge of Caterpillar and its products, services, and customers.
• Grow personally and professionally through soft skills development and hands-on training.
• Collaborate with experts in product development, dealer management, marketing, and sales; rotate assignments.
• Manage assigned territory and serve as a connection between dealers and Caterpillar.
