Job summary

Silver Lake Auto is seeking a Marketing Intern to grow our presence across social media, SEO, GEO, and AI. You will work with the Director of Marketing to turn strategy into concrete results, creating video content for TikTok/Instagram/YouTube, updating profiles, and testing campaigns with real impact.

You'll gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, collaborate across channels, and learn how direct mail, email campaigns, Google Ads, and CRM integrate into a cohesive plan.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with socials including YouTube Shorts and platform differences.
• Understanding of Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) and performance interpretation.
• Working knowledge of SEO/local search and interest in GEO/AI impacts.
• Comfortable with AI tools and curiosity for new ones.
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar; Adobe Suite is a plus.
• A passion for visual storytelling and branding.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, self-directed, and proactive in bringing ideas forward.
• Able to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with marketing metrics (engagement, CTR, conversions, cost per lead).

Responsibilities

• Create and edit short-form video content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• Track trends, pitch ideas, and analyze engagement metrics for improvement.
• Schedule and publish content using Meta Business Suite and LinkedIn.
• Monitor social channels and forums for brand mentions.
• Help build and test Meta Ads campaigns, especially for recruiting.
• Maintain Google Business Profiles and publish Google Posts.
• Collaborate with Autoshop Solutions on SEO and blog content.
• Lead efforts to strengthen AI-driven platform presence.
• Test AI tools for marketing and recommend practical uses.
