Maman DMV Summer Marketing Intern is a part-time, in-person role spanning DC, Maryland, and Virginia. You will assist with marketing assets, respond to reviews, and help with community outreach and collaborations for new and existing locations.

The role emphasizes marketing storytelling, hospitality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. You will need a laptop and reliable transportation for commuting across the DMV.

Maman DMV Summer Marketing Intern

Role based in: D.C., Maryland and Virginia (DMV)

maman is a French bakery, café and leading lifestyle brand founded in 2014.

Responsibilities

• Visiting stores to check on marketing assets
• Assist in responding to DMV-specific reviews
• Support local donation initiatives and community outreach efforts
• Distribute marketing supplies and retail for all DMV stores
• Research and identify potential local groups, organizations, and businesses for collaboration opportunities
• Create and research marketing promotional ideas for existing and new locations
• Competitor research
• Assist on‑site at new store openings

What we’re looking for

• Part‑time (20 hrs per week) in‑person commitment at varying locations across the DMV
• A passion for marketing, storytelling, hospitality and food & beverage
• Organized and detail‑oriented
• Strong communication skills and collaborative attitude
• Experience with Google Suite
• Reliable transportation (this role requires commutes to varying locations across the DMV)
• Must have a laptop and phone available for work‑related tasks
• You enjoy and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
• Sociable, great people skills, and excited to represent maman in the DMV

Nice to have’s

• Prior food & beverage or hospitality industry experience
• Degree or in‑progress of getting a degree in a related field (marketing, communications, PR, etc.)
