Job summary

Strattec is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to support a broad range of marketing and communications initiatives across the organization. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in internal and external marketing, including brand execution, content creation, employee communications, events, and cross‑functional project support.

You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager and partner with HR, operations, and leadership teams to bring initiatives to life.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Teams); familiarity with design tools is a plus.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

This role offers hands‑on experience in both internal and external marketing, including brand execution, content creation, employee communications, events, and cross‑functional project support. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Manager and partner with HR, operations, and leadership teams to bring initiatives to life.

Key Responsibilities

Content & Communications

• Assist in drafting and editing internal communications (intranet content, announcements, campaigns)
• Support development of marketing copy for presentations, emails, and digital platforms
• Help maintain and update intranet pages to ensure content is accurate and engaging
• Contribute ideas for storytelling that reinforces STRATTEC’s brand and culture

Brand & Creative Support

• Ensure brand consistency across materials (logos, colors, messaging, tone)
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies on creative deliverables
• Assist with creation of marketing assets such as presentations, one‑pagers, and visuals

Events & Engagement

• Support planning and execution of internal events (town halls, employee engagement, volunteer initiatives)
• Assist with logistics, communications, and post‑event follow‑ups
• Help coordinate external event materials (e.g., trade shows, customer‑facing assets)

Project Coordination

• Help manage timelines, track deliverables, and follow up with stakeholders
• Support cross‑functional projects involving HR, operations, and leadership teams
• Organize files, assets, and documentation to keep projects running smoothly

Digital & Marketing Operations

• Assist with basic analytics tracking (campaign engagement, intranet usage, etc.)
• Support content publishing and updates across platforms
• Help with general marketing operations and administrative tasks as needed
