Job description

About the role

You will work directly with agency leadership on live client and in-house brand work. This is not a coffee-run internship. You will use AI tools every day to research, create, launch and measure marketing — and you will be expected to judge when the AI output is wrong.

What you'll do
  • AI-assisted marketing: Use tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney/Firefly and AI video tools to research, draft, design and repurpose content. Help document prompts and workflows the team reuses.
  • Design: Produce social graphics, ad creative, email layouts and product imagery in Canva and Figma, following client brand guidelines.
  • Audiences: Build customer personas, segment email/SMS lists (Klaviyo), and help define targeting for paid campaigns.
  • Paid ads: Support campaign setup, creative testing and weekly reporting on Meta, Google and TikTok Ads. Track spend, ROAS, CPA and CTR.
  • Content development: Write and schedule social posts, blog articles, product descriptions and email campaigns; support SEO and AI-search (AEO) optimization.
  • Analytics & reporting: Pull data from Shopify, GA4 and ad platforms; turn it into short, clear performance summaries.
  • Video & social: Help plan, shoot and edit short-form video and support our YouTube interview series.
What You'll Learn
  • How an AI-native agency actually operates — agents, workflows and human review
  • End-to-end ecommerce marketing: from audience and creative to paid media and results
  • Client communication and working to deadlines on real budgets
  • A portfolio of shipped, measurable work
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a program in Marketing, Communications, Design, Business or related field
  • Strong writing skills and a good visual eye
  • Hands-on curiosity with AI tools (show us something you made with one)
  • Comfort with spreadsheets and basic numbers
  • Organized, reliable, and able to take direct feedback
Nice to Have
  • Canva, Figma or Adobe experience
  • Exposure to Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Klaviyo or Shopify
  • Short-form video editing (CapCut, Premiere)
  • A personal portfolio, blog or social account you've grown
Compensation & Logistics
  • Pay: $20–$24/hour, based on experience and portfolio
  • Schedule: Flexible; 15–25 hrs/week during the school year, up to 40 hrs/week in summer
  • Location: Hybrid — Los Angeles (Mid-City) with in-person days for shoots and planning
  • Path: Strong performers may be considered for a paid extension or a junior role
