Job summary

Merkle Retirement Planning, LLC is seeking a Marketing Intern to support our Marketing Team across digital content, campaigns, email marketing, analytics, creative projects, and day-to-day marketing operations.

This hands-on internship runs from September 2026 to May 2027. Interns should be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the school year, with flexibility for occasional Merkle Retirement Planning-sponsored client events outside normal business hours.

Responsibilities

• Social Media & Content Publishing: Schedule and publish approved social content, maintain the social media calendar, assist with YouTube publishing, and review live content for accuracy.
• Campaign & Marketing Analytics: Gather and organize campaign results, pull metrics across digital channels, track performance against goals, identify basic trends, and help maintain accurate links, UTMs, and reporting.
• Email Marketing: Build and format emails using approved templates and brand standards, add campaign elements, proof emails, and assist with scheduling.
• Design & Creative Support: Complete simple design projects, resize and adapt existing graphics, and make basic updates to approved marketing materials.
• Marketing Operations & Team Support: Help maintain budget and expense tracking, organize marketing files and assets, assist with event and workshop materials, and support special projects.

About the Role
