The Village Voice is seeking a motivated marketing intern for Fall 2016. This part-time position offers hands-on experience in social media, event planning, and promotional campaigns for the Village Voice and its partners.

Interns will assist in creating contests, managing social media, and supporting event logistics, with an emphasis on the craft beer festival and cocktail events. Applicants must be able to receive college credit and ideally be available from September to December.

Qualifications

• Active interest in social media, marketing, events, and promotions.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Passion for music, film, arts, and New York City culture is encouraged.

• Create and fulfill giveaways and contests.
