Job description

Owns T2’s marketing and communications function end to end, serving as both a strategic thought partner to firm leadership and a hands‑on executor across investor communications, brand positioning, digital presence, and content. Works directly with the investor relations team and firm leadership to shape the firm’s narrative, manage outside creative partners, and build repeatable marketing infrastructure. This is a highly visible, independent role for a marketer who brings a point of view and moves the function forward without waiting to be directed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Investor Marketing & Firm Narrative
  • Own and evolve T2’s investor-facing narrative for institutional and high-net-worth capital partners, including investment strategy, market positioning, competitive differentiation, and track record.
  • Lead the creation of institutional-quality investor materials, including pitch decks, quarterly and annual reports, fundraising presentations, one-pagers, and whitepapers.
  • Partner with firm leadership and the investor relations team on fundraising strategy, investor engagement, roadshows, and conference preparation.
  • Translate complex investment strategies, market data, and asset-level performance into clear narratives, maintaining a consistent voice across every investor-facing touchpoint.
Brand Stewardship, Digital Presence & Content
  • Serve as the firm’s brand steward, establishing and enforcing brand standards, visual identity guidelines, messaging frameworks, and presentation templates across the organization.
  • Oversee the firm’s website and LinkedIn presence, including content updates, property and project pages, team bios, announcements, and thought leadership.
  • Manage CRM-driven campaigns, including investor updates, announcements, and opportunities.
  • Gather content and story material from acquisitions, asset management, and investor relations, translating operational activity into marketable narrative.
Vendor Management & Marketing Infrastructure
  • Manage a network of outside creative partners — agencies, designers, photographers, videographers, printers, and web developers — including briefs, timelines, approvals, and revisions.
  • Own project management for all marketing deliverables, including approval workflows, version control, stakeholder coordination, and deadline management.
  • Build scalable processes, templates, and workflows that allow the marketing function to grow efficiently alongside the platform.
  • Track and report on marketing effectiveness, including investor response rates, email open and click performance, website traffic, and social engagement, and recommend improvements based on results.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • 5–10+ years of marketing experience, ideally within real estate, private equity, or financial services
  • Demonstrated experience creating institutional-quality investor communications and fundraising materials, with an understanding of how capital partners evaluate real estate sponsors
  • Proven ability to own a marketing function independently, bringing structure, ideas, accuracy, consistency, and execution without heavy direction
  • Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills; the ability to craft a compelling narrative, not simply produce formatted documents
  • Digital marketing fluency across website content management, email marketing (Mailchimp or equivalent), LinkedIn, and CRM campaign management
  • Experience managing outside creative vendors, with disciplined project management, version control, and deadline management across multiple concurrent deliverables
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint for presentation development; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Canva, and other design software
  • Working knowledge of AI tools and a track record of applying them to content, research, and production workflows to improve efficiency and quality
  • Polished and confident working directly with firm leadership, and comfortable operating in a lean environment where the marketing function is still being built
Key Performance Indicators
  • Quality and consistency of investor-facing materials against T2 brand and messaging standards.
  • Timeliness of deliverables supporting fundraising, quarterly reporting, and conference schedules.
  • Growth in firm visibility and engagement across the website and LinkedIn.
  • Effectiveness of email and CRM campaigns, measured by open, click, and investor response rates.
  • Efficiency and cost control in the management of outside vendors and creative partners.
  • Progress in building repeatable marketing processes, templates, and workflows.
  • Effectiveness of collaboration with investor relations, acquisitions, and asset management.
