Overview
About the Role: The Marketing Director will be responsible for overseeing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and deliver a measurable return on investment. This role requires a data-driven marketer who thrives in both creative development and vendor management.
Responsibilities
- Lead all in-house marketing efforts, including content direction, social strategy, and brand messaging
- Analyze performance of advertising spend and optimize for ROI
- Manage third-party vendor relationships (ad agencies, photographers, videographers, etc.)
- Guide the planning and use of outsourced visual assets (photos, reels, commercials)
- Support execution of campaigns across digital platforms (TV, social, blog, email)
- Help determine which functions to handle in-house vs. outsource based on cost and performance
- Ensure alignment of all messaging with the company's voice and luxury positioning
- Stay current on market trends and consumer engagement strategies within the luxury goods space
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of marketing experience, ideally in fine jewelry, luxury retail, or similar
- Understanding of jewelry retail language and customer behavior
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable assessing ROI and ad performance
- Vendor or agency management experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Canva, and social platforms
- Strong written and visual communication skills
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Portfolio of previous campaigns or creative work preferred
Schedule
