Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior data governance leader in Kentucky to guide a analytics team through governance, controls, and data-domain adoption. You’ll shape data universe scope, ownership, and standards while partnering with Risk, Compliance, Marketing, and Tech to ensure alignment and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data management, data governance or related field.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional work.
• Experience leading governance, controls, or data operating model initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, lineage, controls and data quality.
• Experience with enterprise governance processes and domain-based data management.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Archer, GitHub/Co-Pilot, Python and SharePoint.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and structured problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts to set up and go-live readiness for the Marketing Communications Data Domain.
• Define and maintain the domain data universe, including scope, ownership, critical data elements, standards.
• Establish governance rules for applications, systems of records, data usage, and processes.
• Implement and maintain controls in partnership with Risk and data owners.
• Drive standards for metadata, documentation, issue management, and process consistency.
• Partner across Marketing, Product, Technology, Analytics, and Risk to align requirements.
• Translate business and control requirements into clear plans, milestones, updates.
• Lead team operations supporting governance, documentation, workflow management, execution.
• Manage BAU/ad-hoc data pipelines and transition into production within the Data Domain.
