Job summary

Concord Food Co-op is seeking a Marketing Specialist to support the Marketing Manager with day-to-day tasks, including social media, email campaigns, signage, and events. This role also provides administrative support to the broader team to help increase gross store sales.

You will manage content creation, collaborate with local businesses, and help keep the Co-op's communications on brand. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and proficiency with Canva

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Arts or related field preferred.
• Experience with Canva and Adobe apps (InDesign/Illustrator) or willingness to learn.
• Experience using social media platforms and designing content (Canva, Facebook, Instagram, Constant Contact, Eventbrite, Survey Monkey).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Respond to social media audience feedback and questions.
• Assist in managing the marketing calendar and content creation.
• Update website regularly with new pages and content.
• Create posters, signage and stickers in Adobe or Canva.
• Plan, set up, organize, and run community events and kid programs.
• Serve as outreach contact to local businesses and organizations.
• Accurate data entry into the POS system.
• Assist in monthly sale changeovers.
• Cover Marketing and Data Integrity manager duties when absent.
