Job summary

Equity Bank in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns across our markets. You will provide day-to-day project management to ensure campaigns, promotions, and cross-functional initiatives are delivered on time and on brand.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2–4 years in marketing or project coordination, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft

• 2–4 years in marketing, project coordination, or related role.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with creative, digital, and regional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in banking or financial services is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track marketing projects from kickoff through completion, maintaining timelines and status updates.
• Serve as liaison between marketing, creative, digital, events, and regional bank teams.
• Support planning and execution of marketing campaigns and product launches with external partners.
• Maintain and update the marketing project calendar and deadlines.
• Assist with budget tracking and vendor invoices for campaigns.

Summary

The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns and projects across Equity Bank's markets. This role provides day-to-day project management support to the marketing team, helping ensure campaigns, promotions, and cross-functional initiatives are delivered on time and on brand. As Equity Bank continues to grow, this role is critical to keeping marketing projects organized, on schedule, and aligned across a growing number of stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Expectations

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track marketing projects from kickoff through completion, maintaining timelines, task lists, and status updates for the marketing team
• Serve as a day-to-day liaison between marketing, creative, digital, events, and regional bank teams to keep projects moving and stakeholders informed
• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches, including coordination with external creative and web agency partners
• Maintain and update the marketing team's project calendar, ensuring visibility into deadlines, dependencies, and competing priorities
• Process and track internal requests, routing approvals, and ensuring compliance with internal review steps
• Assist with marketing support for bank growth initiatives, including new-location launches and acquisition integration communications and materials
• Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing collateral, ensuring brand consistency across print, digital, and in-branch materials
• Support budget tracking and vendor invoice coordination for marketing projects and campaigns
• Assist with basic reporting on campaign timelines, deliverable status, and project completion for marketing leadership
• Provide general administrative and organizational support to the marketing team as needed

Required Skills & Education

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, or a related role
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
