Qualifications

• Marketing/communications experience required.
• Not-for-profit/education experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong photography skills with attention to lighting and composition.
• Experience with photo editing; video skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with design software (Adobe Creative or similar).
• Graphic design experience is a strong asset.
• Experience with Blackbaud is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photographs at events and campus life.
• Manage social media and advertising calendars.
• Create digital and print graphic materials.
• Organize and maintain photo/video library.
• Support communications calendars and deadlines.
• Monitor and report metrics for email, website, and social media.
• Maintain Brand Guidelines consistency.

San Diego Jewish Academy is seeking a Full-Time Marketing Coordinator, reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and extremely organized professional who thrives on managing multiple projects, capturing high-quality photography, supporting communications, and contributing to a wide range of marketing initiatives that help tell our story.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Capturing high-quality photographs during school events, activities, and day to day campus life.
• Managing social media and advertising calendars.
• Graphic design for digital and print materials.
• Organizing and maintaining photo and video library.
• Supporting the communications calendars, ensuring deadlines are met
• Monitor and reporting metrics for email, website, and social media performance.
• Brand Guidelines consistency
• Other items as noted by Director of Marketing & Communications.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in marketing, communications required.
• Related industry experience preferred (not for profit/education).
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or a related field
• Strong photography skills with a keen eye for detail, composition, and lighting.
• Experience with photo editing; video skills are a plus.
• Comfort with design software (Adobe Creative or similar)
• Graphic design experience is a strong asset.
• Experience with Blackbaud is an asset.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $22 - $30/hr. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week).
