Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an in-person Marketing Associate to engage prospective and current owners at our resort locations. You will schedule guests for sales presentations and act as a brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations within the resort environment.

The role requires strong communication, basic MS Excel/Word skills, and the ability to meet performance goals. Training will be provided, with no travel beyond the home site.

Qualifications

  • Sales or marketing experience is preferred but not required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • In-person marketing with prospective and/or current owners at resorts and assist with presenting at sales previews.
  • Greet, qualify, and enroll guests to attend sales presentations.
  • Coordinate with resort staff to manage arrival sheets and reservations.
  • Maintain knowledge of marketing materials and industry trends.
  • Meet performance goals and participate in training sessions and meetings.

Job Summary

In person marketing with prospective and/or current owners within our resorts. Schedules guests to meet with a representative for a presentation.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations
  • Partner with the resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in
  • Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour
  • Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
  • Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet, present and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales presentation in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals (80% time)
  • Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually. (20%)
Travel Requirements

No travel required outside of the home site's area

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
  • Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.
  • Must maintain production standards.
  • Education High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Training requirements None
  • Knowledge and skills Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space.
  • Technical Skills Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills and smart devices.
  • Job experience 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.
  • Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
