Job summary

Chapman and Cutler LLP is seeking a Marketing Communications Assistant to support the Marketing Department. This role focuses on designing and producing high-impact client- and recruit-facing materials, including advertisements, visuals, podcasts, and videos to elevate the Firm’s brand.

The position requires an in-office presence with flexibility for some remote work, and requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, along with strong design, writing, and marketing tech skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
• Strong graphic design fundamentals with InDesign and Adobe apps; proficient in layout and branding.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with AI-driven tools and marketing automation and analytics tools.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills; professional approach.
• Client-service oriented; able to build relationships across the firm.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Create, format, and distribute marketing materials (client alerts, pitch decks, ads, etc.).
• Support promotion of firm thought leadership via publication opportunities and channels.
• Assist with website and video/social media content by preparing narratives and visuals.
• Create, produce, and promote podcasts and videos.
• Format and proofread presentations and marketing content for brand compliance.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to spot trends.
• Update and maintain marketing databases and repositories.
• Provide administrative support to the Marketing team and collaborate on special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
