Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte seeks a Marketing & Communications Manager for the NSF Carolinas Grid Engine to lead branding, digital presence, and outreach. You will shape the Engine’s voice, manage content, and coordinate partner communications across multiple organizations.

You will own the carolinasgridengine.com site, drive integrated campaigns, and collaborate with UNC Charlotte’s communications team to maintain brand standards and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in marketing/communications or public relations.
• Experience owning strategy and execution for multi-channel campaigns.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all marketing and communications functions for the Carolinas Grid Engine.
• Develop and execute integrated campaigns to drive partner engagement and visibility.
• Own website strategy, content, accessibility, SEO, and CMS platforms.
• Oversee HubSpot marketing and CRM usage, workflows, dashboards, and data governance.
• Coordinate with UNC Charlotte University Communications to align with brand standards.
