Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain (BGCCP) is seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to lead day-to-day marketing and communications, raising awareness, engaging families and donors, and telling the story of BGCCP’s impact across our Clubs.

Working with the VP of Development Operations and leadership, you will develop and execute communications that support BGCCP’s mission, fundraising priorities, programs, events, and community engagement efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, business, or related field.
• 3+ years of marketing/communications/nonprofit experience.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute BGCCP’s annual marketing and communications plan with leadership.
• Manage day-to-day communications across digital and print channels.
• Create engaging content for families, donors, volunteers, and partners.
• Oversee BGCCP’s social media, including planning and engagement.
• Coordinate website content, newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.
• Maintain brand consistency and messaging across the organization.
• Highlight youth stories, outcomes, partnerships, and milestones.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate priorities into communications.
