Trans Ova Genetics in Iowa is seeking a curious, creative, and detail-oriented marketing communications intern to support content creation, research, and client experience initiatives. This internship combines content creation, research, collaboration, and a structured client journey improvement project.

You will map the client journey, prepare social graphics, educational posts, and simple handouts, and capture photos/videos at events while refining materials based on feedback and performance

Qualifications

• Upperclassman pursuing a degree in agricultural communications, marketing, communications, agricultural business, or a related field.
• Strong writing, communication, research, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant creative work such as social content, graphic design, photography, video, writing, or other marketing communications work is required.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, social media content creation, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Learn and map the client journey from first inquiry through ongoing service and support.
• Review marketing materials, emails, web pages, presentations, and social content for clarity and consistency at each stage.
• Identify common client questions, information gaps, and areas of potential confusion with internal teams.
• Attend events to observe FAQs and content opportunities.
• Build and present a client journey evaluation with a journey map, improved materials, and actionable recommendations.
• Create client-focused content such as social graphics, captions, educational posts, short-form videos, and checklists.
• Prepare content for campaigns, events, seasonal topics, and ongoing communications.
• Capture and edit photos and short-form video at trade shows and locations.
• Track basic content performance and organize content revisions.
