AmeriCorps Members support Delaware-based nonprofits by providing hands-on marketing and outreach assistance that builds capacity and strengthens community connection. Embedded with nonprofit partners, members create and manage social media content, refine messaging for Delaware Giving Day, recruit student volunteers, and track outcomes to improve impact and reporting.

Training sessions, stipends, and an education award are provided.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (AA) is required.
• English language proficiency.
• Ages 22 to 65.
• Experience or interest in nonprofit communications and community outreach is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead will work closely with Spur Impact staff to support program efforts.
• Assist nonprofits in developing and implementing digital outreach strategies that increase awareness and engage supporters.
• Support nonprofits in preparing for Delaware Giving Day by refining messaging and coordinating content.
• Recruit and engage student volunteers and track service hours, activities, and outcomes for reporting.
