Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the school’s marketing and communications initiatives. You will work with the Director of Enrollment & Marketing Communications to ensure the school’s story is communicated clearly across internal and external channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of communications, marketing, program coordination, or administrative management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
  • Experience with website content management and social media platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and build strong internal partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual communications planning, campaigns, and content priorities.
  • Maintain and manage the institution-wide communications calendar.
  • Develop workflows, intake systems, and processes for communications requests.
  • Anticipate seasonal communication needs and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Improve efficiency and sustainability of school-wide communications.
  • Translate strategic priorities into effective communications plans.
  • Develop first drafts, messaging frameworks, and campaign content.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.
  • Support the development and implementation of communication standards.
  • Coordinate school-wide communications, including weekly bulletins and community messaging.
  • Establish standards for tone, messaging, and communication frequency.
  • Align cross-functional communications and reduce duplication.
  • Partner with school leadership to strengthen internal messaging.
  • Manage planning, writing, editing, and production of major publications.
  • Coordinate content contributors, timelines, and publishing schedules.
  • Edit content for clarity, voice, consistency, and structure.
  • Oversee recurring communication pieces and production workflows.
  • Lead website content planning and prioritization using Finalsite.
  • Oversee website updates and content management.
  • Manage social media strategy and digital storytelling initiatives.
  • Coordinate email marketing and digital communication campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen brand visibility and engagement.
  • Support development of blog and podcast content.
  • Manage relationships with designers, photographers, printers, freelancers, and other external vendors.
  • Coordinate production schedules and deliverables.
  • Recommend outsourced support when needed.
  • Ensure quality standards are met before publication or release.
  • Monitor key communications and engagement metrics.
  • Evaluate communication effectiveness and workflow processes.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reach, and impact.

Job description

Marketing & Communications Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the school's marketing and communications initiatives. This individual will work closely with the Director of Enrollment & Marketing Communications to ensure the school's story is communicated clearly and consistently across internal and external channels.

This role is responsible for developing communications strategies, managing content creation and publications, overseeing digital channels, coordinating school-wide messaging, and improving communication workflows to support enrollment efforts, community engagement, and the school's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities
Communications Planning & Workflow Management
  • Lead annual communications planning, campaigns, and content priorities.
