Job summary

Holmes US seeks a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to craft content for proposals, collateral, presentations, and Holmes’ digital platforms while building client relationships across the West Coast.

You’ll organize project photography, support BD activities, and help maintain brand guidelines. The role offers growth across proposals, design, and networking, with a flexible hybrid schedule and strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
• Some experience in an AEC firm is a big plus but not required.
• Strong writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for design.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain content for proposals, collateral, presentations, and Holmes’ digital platforms.
• Craft compelling narratives that uphold our brand guidelines and convey project value.
• Coordinate project photography and maintain visual asset library.
• Support business development through research, meeting prep, and information management.
• Coordinate meetings and administrative tasks across West Coast teams.
• Collaborate with team members and possibly learn Māori phrases from Kiwi colleagues.

Our US practice specialises in structural and fire protection engineering consulting - partnering with architects, developers, and project teams to solve complex challenges from the ground up.

Your Journey as Marketing Coordinator:

• Create and maintain content for proposals, collateral, presentations, and Holmes’ digital platforms
• Craft compelling narratives that uphold our brand guidelines and convey the value of Holmes' projects and people
• Coordinate project photography and help maintain visual asset library
• Support business development activities through research, meeting preparation, and information management—in addition to building your own industry network!
• Coordinate meetings, correspondence, and other administrative functions that keep the team humming
• Work collaboratively with team members along the West Coast—and maybe even pick up some Māori words from our Kiwi colleagues!

You’ll Thrive Here If You Have:

• A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
• Some experience in an AEC firm isa big plus but not required

Compensation:

Estimated starting pay at $60,000 - $80,000 annually + biannual profit share bonus potential. Salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and location.
