ROLE SUMMARY

Neogen is looking for a Marketing Automation Systems Analyst to own and optimize our global marketing automation platform. You will administer Eloqua, build the campaign and nurture programs that run on it, protect the integrity of the data flowing between Eloqua and Salesforce, and act as the technical partner our regional marketing teams rely on. This role sits where marketing strategy meets technical execution. You will spend your time building workflows, troubleshooting integrations, enforcing data standards, and training marketers to use the platform well. If you like turning a messy request into a clean, scalable, well‑documented program, this is the job.

About the Role

Neogen is seeking a Marketing Automation Systems Analyst to own, administer, and optimize our global marketing automation platform. This role will support the technical execution of marketing programs, including campaign automation, nurture programs, lead management, segmentation, data integrations, and platform governance. Working at the intersection of marketing strategy and technical execution, the Marketing Automation Systems Analyst will partner with regional and global Marketing, Sales Operations, IT, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable marketing automation solutions. The successful candidate will bring hands‑on marketing automation experience, strong technical and analytical skills, and the ability to turn complex or ambiguous requests into efficient, well‑documented solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will make an impact by:

  • Administering and optimizing Neogen’s Eloqua marketing automation platform to support global and regional marketing teams
  • Designing, building, testing, and managing marketing automation workflows, including email campaigns, lead scoring models, nurture programs, and program canvases
  • Configuring, maintaining, and continuously improving campaign templates, forms, landing pages, and other marketing automation assets
  • Monitoring platform health, email deliverability, system performance, and data synchronization and troubleshooting issues that could impact marketing programs
  • Maintaining data integrity within Eloqua and across integrations with Salesforce and other connected systems
  • Managing contact lists, segmentation, lead scoring, and audience strategies to support effective campaign targeting
  • Developing and maintaining segmentation strategies aligned with customer segments, personas, regions, and go‑to‑market strategies
  • Monitoring and supporting the synchronization of marketing and customer data between Eloqua, Salesforce, and other connected platforms
  • Supporting compliance with applicable data privacy and electronic communication requirements, including GDPR, CAN‑SPAM, CASL, and regional requirements
  • Partnering with Legal and IT to support consent management, preference centers, data governance, and data retention practices
  • Partnering with Marketing, Sales Operations, IT, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Providing technical guidance, training, and support to marketers using Eloqua and related marketing technologies
  • Serving as an escalation point for campaign build issues, data synchronization failures, platform questions, and other marketing automation issues
  • Collaborating with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve platform and integration issues
  • Implementing and maintaining tracking scripts, tags, pixels, and other technologies used to measure campaign performance
  • Supporting testing, quality assurance, and release processes for campaign assets, workflows, integrations, and platform changes
  • Developing and maintaining documentation for marketing automation processes, data flows, system configurations, naming conventions, and platform standards
  • Identifying opportunities to automate manual marketing processes, improve workflows, and reduce operational complexity
  • Establishing and promoting scalable marketing automation standards and best practices across global and regional marketing teams
  • Analyzing campaign, workflow, and system performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with marketing automation platforms, systems, or related marketing technology
  • Experience administering or supporting a marketing automation platform such as Oracle Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot/Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, or a comparable platform
  • Experience designing and building marketing automation workflows, email campaigns, nurture programs, forms, landing pages, or lead management processes
  • Experience working with CRM systems and integrations between CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform
  • Experience managing marketing data, segmentation, contact lists, or lead scoring processes
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as applied to email templates, landing pages, tracking, or other digital marketing applications
  • Experience troubleshooting marketing automation, data synchronization, campaign, or system‑related issues
  • Experience supporting data quality and governance within marketing or CRM systems
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret campaign and system data
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, requests, priorities, and stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Marketing, Sales, IT, Legal, and other business functions
Preferred Qualifications
