Job summary

Harborside Group, a Towson-based boutique marketing firm, is seeking a creative marketing professional with graphic design skills to join a collaborative team. The role combines design, project support, and admin tasks for financial services clients.

The ideal candidate has an eye for design, strong attention to detail, and enjoys working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while building knowledge of financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in graphic design. Internship and freelance experience will be considered.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat. Also working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with email marketing and project management platforms, social media, website content management systems, or AI-powered marketing tools is a plus.
• Experience creating motion graphics (After Effects) also a plus.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, typography, color theory, layout, organization and brand management.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain client marketing materials and branded collateral as well as internal file systems, templates, and other shared design resources.
• Assist in the creative development of marketing materials such as newsletters, flyers, video and social media graphics, email assets, presentations, and proposals.
• Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to support client projects from concept through completion.
• Coordinate multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Provide administrative and project support as needed across a wide variety of client assignments.
• Prepare and ensure all files meet technical specifications for both digital and print production.
• Explore new technologies and AI-powered tools to improve workflows and marketing efficiency.
