Job summary

JAX Mercantile is seeking a Marketing Assistant or Intern to support our Marketing Team at the Laporte, CO Support Center. You will create graphics for social media and marketing materials, ensure visual consistency, and help with presentation decks and branding.

The ideal candidate is pursuing or has completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Graphic Design, with knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Business, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Knowledge of graphic design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency in typography, social media concepts, and basic copywriting.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit basic graphics for social media, posters, and website updates.
• Resize, format and optimize images and marketing materials.
• Assist with presentation deck formatting and visual consistency.
• Update templates and branded collateral following guidelines.
• Support promotional event coordination and logistics.
• Perform general administrative duties as needed.
