Job summary

Strategic Energy Solutions, Inc. (SES) is seeking a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator to orchestrate proposals, polish marketing materials, and support communications that showcase our technical expertise to clients and communities.

The role involves coordinating proposals, turning technical stories into compelling content, and collaborating with engineers, PMs, and leadership in a primarily remote or hybrid environment. A relevant degree and strong writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/related field preferred.
• AEC industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong writing, proofreading, formatting, organization and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, coordinate contributors, and follow projects through to completion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or similar design tools is a plus.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Proposals: manage proposals and statements of qualification from kickoff to final submission, including schedules and deadlines.
• Create Marketing Content: update project sheets, resumes, presentations, social media content, newsletters, and other communications.
• Bring Technical Stories to Life: translate project information into clear, engaging content with engineers and PMs.
• Keep Materials Organized: maintain templates, boilerplate content, resumes, project information, and marketing libraries.
• Support Business Development: partner with Sales, Marketing and BD to coordinate pursuits, presentations and events.
• Improve the Process: help create more consistent, proactive proposal and communication workflows.

What You'll Do:

• Keep Materials Organized:Maintain proposal templates, boilerplate content, staff resumes, project information, photography, and marketing libraries.
• Support Business Development:Partner with the Sales, Marketing, and Business Development team to coordinate pursuits, presentations, events, and strategic initiatives.
• Improve the Process:Help create more consistent, proactive, and efficient proposal and communication workflows.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field preferred.
• AEC industry experience strongly preferred.
• Strong writing, proofreading, formatting, organization, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, coordinate contributors, and follow projects through to completion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design tools is a plus.
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
