Job summary

UFCU is seeking a Marketing and Member Insights Analyst to turn data into strategic insights that drive growth, engagement, and profitability. You will analyze member data, optimize campaigns, and build predictive models that influence decisions across marketing channels and product experiences.

The role sits within the Digital Marketing Team and reports to the Digital Marketing Director, focusing on member-centric analytics and analytics infrastructure improvements to support enhanced member

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Business or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years' experience in analytics, business intelligence, data-driven marketing, or finance.
  • 3 years’ experience using BI tools including Power BI, CRM platforms, Web analytics tools, or MCIF databases.
  • Minimum three (3) years of SQL or similar querying experience.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data from a variety of sources into succinct actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze member and campaign data across platforms to evaluate performance and identify opportunities.
  • Deliver strategic insights on campaign impact, segmentation, and financial results to guide decisions.
  • Design and execute A/B tests to improve campaign performance and inform strategy.
  • Build dashboards and reports tracking KPIs and marketing effectiveness.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction trends and drivers of NPS and likelihood to recommend.

Job Summary

UFCU is seeking a curious, results-driven Marketing and Member Insights Analyst to turn data into insights that inform strategy, track performance, optimize campaigns, and enhance member experiences. This role will work cross-functionally to uncover new insights from our member data, analyze performance, develop segmentation strategies, and build predictive models that directly impact growth, engagement, and profitability.

The Marketing and Member Insights Analyst will help advance member-centricity, foster an insight-driven decision-making culture, shape the future of analytic infrastructure and deliverables, and most importantly, help our members achieve their financial goals.

The Marketing and Member Insights Analyst is an exempt position and is a member of the Digital Marketing Team within Marketing & Communications. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Director.

Essential Functions
Drive Insightful Marketing Decisions
  • Analyze member and campaign data across platforms to evaluate performance, uncover trends, and identify opportunities
  • Deliver strategic insights on campaign impact, segmentation, and financial results to guide business decisions
  • Design and execute A/B tests to validate hypotheses, improve campaign performance, and inform business strategy
  • Design and build dashboards and reports that track KPIs and provide clear visibility into marketing effectiveness and member behavior
  • Provides updates regarding customer satisfaction trends and drivers of our customers’ Likelihood to Recommend and Net Promoter Scores (NPS)
Improve Targeting And Member Experience
  • Refine audience segmentation through psychographic and behavioral analysis
  • Translate member feedback and experience data into actionable recommendations
  • Use data to understand and optimize the customer journey across digital and physical channels
Collaborate and Innovate
  • Partner with Product Managers and internal teams to develop analytic initiatives and business strategies that align with member needs and revenue goals
  • Champion continuous improvement by embedding data-informed practices into marketing processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve analytic infrastructure, processes and capabilities; work cross-functionally to drive and implement enhancements

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
  • Completes required regulatory training as assigned
  • Maintains strict adherence to and compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, and internal controls specific to the role, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, USA Patriot Act, OFAC and Fair Lending regulations
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and data querying
  • Proficiency in data analytics, marketing metrics, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into simple narratives

Experience
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Business or equivalent experience
  • 5 years' experience in analytics, business intelligence, data-driven marketing, or finance
  • 3 years’ experience using BI tools including Power BI, CRM platforms, Web analytics tools, or MCIF databases
  • Minimum three (3) years of SQL or similar querying experience
  • Ability to synthesize complex data from a variety of sources into succinct actionable recommendations and concisely present findings to executive level audience.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and quickly react to changing business needs while meeting firm deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels within the organization
  • Must be bondable
Preferred Requirements
  • Financial Services, Banking or Credit Union experience
  • Proficiency in querying and analyzing data using SQL or similar query language. Ability to extract, clean and interpret large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g. R, Python, SAS or SPSS) to perform advanced analyses and modeling
