Job description

Your Job

In today’s dynamic and increasingly complex global marketplace, the ability to connect strategy with execution through reliable, data-informed planning is essential to supporting Brooks’ growth. As the Market Supply Planning Operations Planner at Brooks, you will support MSP Global Operations by coordinating and maintaining key cross-regional planning processes, tools, reporting, and timelines that help connect planning decisions across regions and planning horizons.

This role supports the continued buildout of MSP Global Operations by providing dedicated execution support for global processes, improving business continuity, strengthening cross-training, and creating more consistent planning outputs across regions.

In this role, you will help maintain established planning workflows and contribute to process improvements that support visibility, data accuracy, and cross-functional coordination. You will partner closely with MSP, Sourcing, Finance, and regional teams to gather inputs, track deliverables, prepare reporting, surface issues, and elevate risks as needed.

You will support core transverse processes, including long‑term planning, capacity management, risk scenario inputs, inventory process execution, and service delivery support to global markets. By applying control tower principles — visibility, collaboration, agility, and accountability — you will help provide timely information, highlight potential trade‑offs, and support more informed planning discussions.

Operating in a highly collaborative environment, you will balance executional excellence with practical continuous improvement. Your work will support planning efficiency, data integrity, and consistent execution across regions while contributing to on‑time delivery against key business milestones.

Responsibilities

Connected Planning & Process Support

  • Maintain and support key planning processes, tools, and workflows to improve accuracy, usability, and consistency.

  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or data quality issues across planning workflows and contribute recommendations for improvement.

  • Coordinate cross‑functional inputs so planning tools, timelines, and reporting remain aligned with evolving business needs and system capabilities.

  • Support Connected Planning activities by preparing scenario inputs that combine Go‑To‑Market timelines, risk considerations, and capacity assumptions.

  • Assist with planning transformation activities, including process documentation, testing, training materials, and user adoption support for evolving supply planning capabilities and systems.

  • Contribute to data‑informed planning by maintaining high‑quality inputs, outputs, and cross‑functional visibility.

Global Sample Purchase Orders (SPS) Coordination

  • Coordinate global SPS PO activities to support product launches and market readiness.

  • Gather and organize cross‑functional inputs needed to support timely and accurate SPS execution aligned to GTM milestones.

  • Track timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across functions and regions for a high‑visibility, detail‑oriented process.

  • Maintain SPS status reporting and communication materials to provide visibility to priorities, risks, and next steps.

  • Communicate updates and elevate risks or blockers to support timely issue resolution.

  • Identify opportunities to standardize and simplify SPS execution across Footwear and Apparel, in partnership with MSP leadership and cross‑functional partners.

Cross‑Regional Inventory Process Support

  • Support designated cross‑regional inventory management processes and programs, including reporting, process documentation, inventory visibility, and recommerce‑related coordination.

  • Coordinate with eCommerce, Finance, regional planning teams, and cross‑functional partners to support alignment on inventory flow and execution plans.

  • Track risks, gaps, constraints, and follow‑ups; elevate issues when additional direction or decision‑making is needed.

  • Maintain consistent reporting and visibility across Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.

Global Capacity Planning & Data Support

  • Support capacity planning activities through data preparation, file maintenance, timeline coordination, and reporting updates across Footwear and Apparel workflows.

  • Help maintain critical planning tools, files, and calendars to support data accuracy, timeliness, and cross‑regional alignment.

  • Analyze capacity signals and planning inputs to help identify constraints, risks, and opportunities for improved alignment between demand, sourcing, and manufacturing capabilities.

  • Coordinate milestone inputs and updates with MSP, Sourcing, and regional partners to support reliable planning outputs.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, visibility, and consistency within global capacity planning processes and workflows.

  • Support Sourcing agility efforts by contributing data and process support related to blocked horizon, manufacturing line saturation, and batch size visibility.

Continuous Improvement & Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with MSP leadership to support evolving global planning priorities and transformation‑related activities.

  • Collaborate across Sourcing, Sales, eCommerce, Finance, GTM Ops, and regional planning teams to coordinate planning inputs, timelines, and execution needs.

  • Communicate risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs clearly so appropriate stakeholders have visibility to issues and required follow‑up.

  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships that improve coordination, responsiveness, and follow‑through.

  • Maintain and improve data management practices to support responsiveness to shifting demand and evolving planning needs.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process opportunities and supporting cross‑functional initiatives that advance end‑to‑end supply and inventory planning capabilities.

  • Support the evolution of planning tools, systems, and processes in alignment with Brooks’ broader supply chain transformation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent combination of education and years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree(s)

  • CPIM, CPSM, or similar certifications preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or inventory management; global or multi‑region exposure preferred

  • Experience working in S&OP, supply planning, manufacturing, demand planning, operations, or logistics environments

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate risks, dependencies, and updates

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to build trust and work effectively with cross‑functional partners
