Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of health and ancillary insurance products and benefit plan designs is a plus.
• Experience at carrier, general agency or brokerage in a benefits support role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify upcoming renewals and evaluate client data to begin initial marketing plan.
• Obtain insurance product rate quotes from various carriers as requested by benefits consultants.
• Assist consultants and market advisors with procurement of carrier quotes and plan solutions.
• Meet and exceed all time frames for quoting and proposal generation activities.
• Build and maintain rapport with carrier contacts for follow up on administrative issues.
• Follow-up with internal departments to ensure receipt of required disclosures and census data.
• Manage regional workload and coordinate with other Market Specialists to ensure timely quotes and proposals.
• Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
• Update and maintain company databases.
