Matlen Silver is seeking a strong Technical Project Manager with market risk domain and data knowledge to lead a data remediation program within Market Risk Technology. The role requires coordinating across technology, risk, and data teams to drive remediation activities and ensure data quality for market risk processes.

Ideal candidates will have capital markets/risk technology experience, a PM-heavy PM/BA background, and solid stakeholder management skills to deliver measurable business

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of professional experience in technology project management, business analysis, or a related role.
• Strong Technical Project Management / Project Management experience, with a PM-heavy PM/BA background.
• Experience within Capital Markets and/or Risk Technology.
• Understanding of Market Risk concepts and processes.
• Experience with VaR (Value-at-Risk) analysis.
• Strong SQL skills and the ability to work with and analyze data.
• Experience using JIRA for project tracking and delivery management.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively across business, technology, risk, and data teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a data remediation program within Market Risk from initiation through delivery.
• Coordinate across technology, business, risk, and data teams to drive remediation activities.
• Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• Translate business and risk requirements into actionable technology and data-related workstreams.
• Support analysis and remediation of data issues impacting market risk processes and reporting.
• Work with stakeholders to understand data flows, identify gaps, and coordinate resolution of data quality and remediation issues.
• Leverage SQL to analyze and validate data and support project-related investigations.
• Support VaR analysis and understand how data impacts market risk calculations and processes.
• Track project activities and deliverables using JIRA.
• Facilitate project meetings, status updates, working sessions, and stakeholder communications.
• Prepare clear project status reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and action items throughout the program lifecycle.
• Partner with development and technology teams while maintaining a strong focus on project delivery and business outcomes.
