Descrição da oferta de emprego

The role will reside within the Market Risk Capital team, which is responsible for producing Market Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) and capital results for the Firm Risk Management Department (FRM). These results are key inputs into regulatory reporting, capital management, and internal business decision-making.

We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst with 1-3 years of experience to report directly to the Global Head of Market Risk Capital. The successful candidate will support US Market Risk Capital production and related controls, while also contributing to the governance framework and strategic priorities of the global Market Risk Capital organization.

This highly visible role offers broad exposure to stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Capital, Technology, and business units. It is well suited for an early-career candidate who combines strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project coordination skills with an interest in market risk, regulatory capital, and capital production processes.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support the Global Head of Market Risk Capital and work closely with US and regional Market Risk Capital teams to execute production, governance, regulatory, and organizational priorities.
  • Support project management for priority initiatives across the global Market Risk Capital organization, including regulatory change programs, operating model enhancements, process transformation efforts, and other strategic projects.
  • Help maintain and enhance the Market Risk Capital governance framework, including governance standards, policies and procedures, review and challenge processes, attestations, committee governance, management reporting, and escalation protocols.
  • Work with Market Risk teams in the US and EMEA, and support coordination across Risk Analytics, Model Risk Management, Firm Capital, Finance, Technology, and business units to manage production dependencies and deliver against agreed objectives.
  • Prepare clear, concise materials for senior management, governance committees, regulators, internal audit, and validation teams, including production updates, presentations, briefing documents, status reports, and decision papers.
  • Track production and project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items; identify exceptions or obstacles, elevate concerns, and support timely resolution.
  • Support the recurring US Market Risk Capital production cycle, including data collection, result generation, completeness and reasonableness checks, variance analysis, issue tracking, and management reporting.
  • Perform review and reconciliation of US Market Risk Capital results across relevant reporting views; investigate material movements and data or calculation exceptions in partnership with Risk Analytics, Finance, Technology, and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain production documentation, control evidence, process procedures, issue logs, and audit trails to support a well-controlled and transparent capital production process.
  • Perform analytical reviews of US Market Risk Capital results and support efforts to strengthen controls, data quality, transparency, reporting, automation, and operational efficiency across capital production processes.
  • Support regulatory examinations, internal audits, process validation reviews, and other production- and governance-related activities.
  • Perform ad hoc capital analyses and contribute to special projects in support of management decision-making and the broader objectives of the Market Risk Capital organization.
You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial services, risk management, finance, regulatory reporting, capital, consulting, project management, or a related field. Relevant internship or rotational-program experience may also be considered.
  • Experience supporting analytical, production, reporting, or project workstreams involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills, with the ability to manage recurring production deliverables and project priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise materials for senior management audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and engage stakeholders across functions and levels of seniority, with appropriate guidance.
  • Exposure to capital production, regulatory reporting, governance frameworks, regulatory initiatives, operating model development, or process improvement is preferred.
  • Experience or coursework in market risk, regulatory capital, financial products, or broader risk management concepts is preferred. Familiarity with Basel capital frameworks and Market Risk RWA is a plus.
