Putnam, part of Inizio Ignite, seeks a detail-oriented candidate to support primary market research studies. You will assist consulting teams, improve data collection capabilities, and coordinate respondent recruitment and fieldwork in a fast-paced environment from our Boston office.

The role focuses on coordinating qualitative and quantitative research activities, maintaining recruiting databases, and supporting bids with recruiting partners.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of primary market research fieldwork experience.
• Familiarity with primary research data collection and fieldwork panels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Social Sciences, Psychology, or Sociology preferred.
• High-level of comfort with Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
• Experience with Qualtrics or survey programming software is beneficial but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, data-driven acumen.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the recruitment of research respondents for Putnam market research studies.
• Grow and maintain Putnam’s internal recruiting database.
• Coordinate and schedule qualitative interviews.
• Assist with bidding processes when soliciting bids from recruiting partners.
• Oversee logistical aspects of Quant research: respondent recruitment, translations, fielding statistics, survey programmers, testing, vendor management, and honorarium fulfillment.
• Oversee Qual research logistics: recruitment, translations, scheduling, recordings, and transcripts.
• Serve as liaison between research participants and Putnam consulting teams; inspire and mobilize participants to engage in research activities.

Job description

Putnam is seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual to support the execution of primary market research studies. The ideal candidate will provide direct support to consulting teams and will focus on improving Putnam’s data collection capabilities. The role requires a team-player who thrives in a fast-paced deadline driven environment and takes a proactive approach to problem solving. This role will operate within Putnam’s growing market research department which is tasked with providing fieldwork-specific support to Putnam consulting teams in all aspects of primary market research.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Leading the recruitment of research respondents for Putnam market research studies.
